How Good Plans Started
God has good plans! I’m so thankful He does and that He doesn’t go by what I think is best. In the past, there have been a number of things that I’ve said “I will never” do. Just for giggles, here are some examples- move to Indiana, have a third child, become a stay at home mom, drive a minivan, and homeschool my kids. By God’s grace, I have eaten my own words on every single one of those and now those are some of the most amazing parts of my life’s story! He has taken some of the biggest ups and downs and woven them into an amazing plan for me.
In 2016, my younger brother, (and only sibling) Jacob, was diagnosed with cancer. He fought with everything he had for 18 months until he passed on to Heaven in 2017.
Would I ever choose to re-live this tragic part in my life? Never.
BUT, God. He makes beauty from ashes.
It was during his cancer battle that my family was becoming more and more aware of the ingredients in our food and how they can heal or hurt our bodies. Little did I know, God was turning what I was learning into a passion. I used to think fast and easy meals were best. Unfortunately, most of the time those come with ingredients that I don't agree with now. I have fallen in love with cooking from scratch and how delicious and flavorful it can be! The tricky part is that scratch cooking can take more time in the kitchen. This was a challenge for me when I was working and then coming home to young babies that needed my attention. Through challenge came creativity, and God has allowed that to be my next exciting adventure and “good plan”.
I started my own business with you in mind! I’ll do the dry ingredient prep for you with organic and clean ingredients, whether it’s a dump and go meal/side or a spice mixture that takes a simple meat and makes it delicious. Allow yourself to put a tasty meal on the table while saving valuable time. This is ideal for working people, parents of small or busy kids, homeschool families, elderly people and those that just don’t enjoy cooking, but still want clean meals on the table. It is my joy to help fuel your family.
So, for at the risk of sounding cheesy, make yourself some “good plans” too and have easy sides and dinners on your shelf, ready to go! Clean and convenient!
